Know Your Options: Childbirth Medical Procedures – Not Yet Available

This week of online childbirth class we will be learning about the different childbirth medical procedures that take place during birth. We will provide you information on common medical procedures that you may be offered, and the right questions to ask to understand these medical procedure when you are in labor and delivery.  This is also known as informed consent and/or refusal during childbirth.

We will provide tips and tricks for asking questions during childbirth and your birth preferences.

Knowing your options for childbirth medical procedures for labor and delivery ahead of time will mean that you can discuss them with your care team to make sure you are giving birth in the environment that will best support you to have a safe, satisfying and pleasurable birth experience!
